The Tree of Life serves as metaphor in a variety of philosophies - from the trees in the Garden of Eden whose fruit gives immortality, to the Kabbalistic symbols for the nature of God, to Charles Darwin's concept of the interrelatedness of all living things.

Michael Aram's menorah takes the form of a tree, with each branch supporting a candle.

Michael Aram is an internationally renowned designer who has lived and worked in India since 1989. Trained as a painter, sculptor and art historian, Aram applies his diverse background in his work, often inspired by nature.
